How long does insurance approval take?
Payment through insurance can take up to four hours to process. If you want to leave the hospital earlier, you leave a security deposit equal to the outstanding bill with the billing department. What if International Assistance does not approve, or approves less than the bill?
If approval is denied, you settle the bill by cash or credit card. If the approved amount is less than the final bill, you pay the balance.
